Privacy Policy for Charge Alert
Charge Alert is developed and published by Coupla Studio. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Charge Alert mobile application.
1. Information We Collect
Charge Alert is designed to operate primarily on your device.
At this time, Charge Alert does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal information with Coupla Studio servers.
The app may access and process device information that is necessary for its features, including:
- Battery level
- Charging status
- Battery temperature
- Charger connection and disconnection status
- Alarm and notification preferences
- Anti-theft settings
- Locally configured PIN information
- User-selected alarm sound settings
This information is processed locally on your device for the purpose of providing battery alerts, charging notifications, anti-theft alarms, and related functionality.
2. Local Data Storage
Some app settings and preferences are stored locally on your device.
These may include:
- Battery alert thresholds
- Charging alert settings
- Alarm preferences
- Anti-theft preferences
- PIN settings
- Custom sound selections
- Theme and other application preferences
This locally stored information is not transmitted to Coupla Studio.
If future versions of Charge Alert include charging history or battery statistics, this information may also be stored locally on your device unless otherwise stated in an updated version of this Privacy Policy.
3. Anti-Theft PIN
If you enable PIN protection for the Anti-Theft Alarm feature, the PIN is stored locally on your device.
Coupla Studio does not receive, view, or store your PIN on its servers.
You are responsible for remembering your PIN and maintaining the security of your device.
4. Notifications and Background Operation
Charge Alert may run a foreground or background service in order to monitor battery and charger-related events.
The app may display notifications to:
- Show battery tracking status
- Warn you when battery thresholds are reached
- Notify you when a charger is disconnected
- Provide access to alarm controls
- Support anti-theft functionality
These operations are performed on your device and do not require your battery information to be sent to Coupla Studio.
5. Custom Alarm Sounds
If you select a custom alarm sound, Charge Alert may access the audio file you choose through Android’s system file or media picker.
The selected file remains on your device and is not uploaded to Coupla Studio.
6. Advertising
The current version of Charge Alert may not include advertising.
If advertising services such as Google AdMob are added in a future version, this Privacy Policy and the Google Play Data Safety information will be updated accordingly.
Third-party advertising providers may process information such as device identifiers, advertising identifiers, approximate location, app interactions, and diagnostic information according to their own privacy policies and applicable consent requirements.
7. Analytics and Crash Reporting
Charge Alert currently does not intentionally transmit personal usage data to Coupla Studio for analytics purposes unless such services are added in a future version.
If analytics or crash-reporting services are introduced, this Privacy Policy will be updated to describe the relevant data processing.
8. Data Sharing
Coupla Studio does not sell your personal information.
Because the current version of Charge Alert processes its main battery and application data locally, Coupla Studio does not share this information with third parties.
Third-party services added in future versions may process limited information according to their own terms and privacy policies.
9. Data Retention and Deletion
Locally stored app data generally remains on your device until:
- You change or reset the relevant settings
- You clear the app’s storage
- You uninstall the application
Uninstalling Charge Alert will generally remove locally stored application data associated with the app.
10. Children’s Privacy
Charge Alert is not specifically directed toward children.
The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children through Coupla Studio servers.
11. Security
Charge Alert is designed to minimize data collection by keeping its main functionality on the user’s device.
However, no device, application, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users should maintain appropriate device security protections.
12. Third-Party Services
Charge Alert relies on Android system services and platform functionality provided by Google and the device manufacturer.
Your use of Android and Google Play may also be subject to Google’s own privacy policies and terms.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when Charge Alert receives new features, integrations, advertising services, analytics tools, or other changes that affect how information is handled.
The updated Privacy Policy will include a revised “Last updated” date.
