Geal is a mobile application developed by Coupla Studio that helps users discover gaming deals, track price drops, manage watchlists, create personal game lists, and compare gaming system requirements with PC hardware.

1. What Geal Does
Geal helps users discover video game deals, discounts, price drops, and free game offers. At the moment, Geal primarily uses publicly available Steam-related game and pricing data. In the future, the app may support additional game stores such as Epic Games or other platforms.
Geal is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to Valve, Steam, Epic Games, or any other game store unless explicitly stated.
2. Information We Collect
Geal does not require users to create a traditional account with an email address or password. However, the app may use anonymous authentication and cloud services to provide core features.
Geal may collect or store the following types of information:
a. Anonymous User Identifier
Geal may create an anonymous user ID through Firebase Authentication. This ID is used to save app-related data such as your watchlist, game lists, notification preferences, and PC hardware selections.
This anonymous ID does not directly identify you by name or email.
b. Watchlist and Game List Data
When you add games to your Watchlist, Played list, Want to Play list, or similar in-app lists, we may store this information in Firebase Firestore so that your data can be available within the app.

c. Price Alert Preferences
If you enable price alerts, Geal may store your selected target prices and notification preferences. This allows the app to notify you when a tracked game reaches your target price or when relevant deal conditions are met.
d. PC Hardware Information You Enter
If you use the “Can my PC run it?” feature, you may enter or select CPU and GPU information. This information is used to compare your PC hardware with game system requirements.
Depending on how the feature is used, this data may be stored locally on your device or in Firebase to support app functionality. We do not use this information to identify you personally.

Geal does not sell games directly. When users open a game store link, they may be redirected to the relevant external store or website.

Geal may send notifications about price drops, target price alerts, free game offers, watchlist updates, and important app-related updates. Notifications are optional.
8. Advertising
Geal may include ads in the future. If ads are added, third-party advertising networks such as Google AdMob may collect and use certain information to show ads, measure ad performance, and prevent fraud.
9. Premium Features and Purchases
Geal may offer premium features, subscriptions, or one-time purchases in the future. Purchases will be handled by the relevant app store or payment provider. We do not directly collect or store your payment card details.
